MIAMI -- Republican presidential candidate George W. Bush has both his brother and his father campaigning for him in Florida.
On Friday, former President George Bush spent time in Hialeah, Fla., along with Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bill McCullom. The two attended the opening of the headquarters of "Vote 2000." Bush also attended a luncheon at the Wyndham Hotel in Miami for McCullom.
George W.'s brother, Florida Governor Jeb Bush, is scheduled to attend a health symposium in Miami Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the presidential candidate is spending time at a senior center in Sun City, Fla. It caps a campaign week in which Bush has used each day to discuss how his health care proposals would affect voters at every stage of life. It's part of a new approach in which he seeks to explain his agenda on more personal terms.
After meeting with seniors, Bush and his wife will take part in Republican Party reception in Tampa, Fla. Then it's on to Miami Friday night for a "Miami Victory 2000 Rally" at the Coconut Grove Convention Center.
